Optimum Control of Pellets with Rechner Sensors.

(30.05.2008)

RECHNER Capacitive sensors can make a major contribution to the trouble free functioning of your pellet heating system. RECHNER sensors control both the supply of the pellets to the burner and the level of the storage unit.

Different models are available in M18, M30 and M32 housings with metal or plastic bodies. Change of the material properties of the pellets, are no problem for RECHNER sensors. Once correctly adjusted, no readjusting of the switching distance is required. On request we can supply the sensors with a pre-adjusted switching distance: “READY TO GO”. That means for you, unpack, install, connect = ready for use.

Capacitive Mini Sensors From Rechner - The Originals

(18.03.2008)

RECHNER has had a history of success with capacitive Mini’s going back to1983 with disk-shaped Sensors for wafer detection. No sooner had this project finished and our clients set us new challenges, and within a few months Rechner had an extensive product family of capacitive mini sensors. Time has not stood still in this product area and as a result of constant advancement and technological adjustments our customers now have at their disposal a perfected sensor family.

The disc shaped capacitive mini sensors are available with diameters from 10 mm with a thickness of just 4 mm up to 30 mm in diameter. The cylindrical versions are available from 3 mm diameter. There are variants for use in high temperature application up to +125°C ambient temperature. This series also includes PTFE or PEEK body versions which are ideally suited for use in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Food Industry.

Capacitive Sensors now only 50 mm in length

(11.02.2008)

The conventional capacitive sensors are too large for your Application? No problem for RECHNER-Sensors. The specialist for capacitive sensors continue to develop and manufacture a wide range of sensors with small dimensions. So for instance capacitive sensors in cylindrical housings with M30 × 1,5 or M32 × 1.5 thread are now available with a body only 50 mm in length. This series also includes PTFE body versions which are ideally suited for use in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Food Industry.

Sensors from the Rechner High performance range, which covers most of Rechner’s transistor output devices, have a higher technical specification than other sensors in the market. These new sensors have a shorter body but still meet in full the exacting requirements of the high performance range.

RECHNER has new laser marking system

(29.03.2007)

Seven years ago we bought our first laser marking machine and started to mark our sensors directly on the housing. Article numbers, type codes, CE-marking, and individual identification code are engraved directly on the housing with the laser. There is no problem marking the different kind of plastics like PA or PPO and metals such as brass, stainless steel or even titanium. The old and ugly labels, that quite often came unstuck after a period of time, or simply became unreadable, now belong to the past. This has been a milestone in our quality control system, especially regarding the trace ability of products. The positive feedback of our customers strengthened our determination for higher quality. Due to the greatly increased demands from production during the last year, we almost reached the limit of our ability to keep pace with the marking process. To avoid a potential bottleneck in the near future we have now purchased a second even more sophisticated laser marking system. It has been implemented into our production process in the last month and since then both lasers work nicely in parallel. The new features allow us total 360° markings as well as implementing customized logos. A further step to more quality and service for all our customers who wish to have their own company name and logo or their own part number on our sensors.

Accredited testing laboratory "RECHNER Lampertheim" according to ISO 17025

(09.08.2006)

Within the last few days our accredited testing laboratory has once again been audited, with success. The first Audit was exactly 12 years ago. Since then our qualified and independent testing personnel have ensured that products from RECHNER-Sensors are a by-word for high quality.

Since being one of the very first accredited testing laboratories, we are still worldwide one of the few such testing establishments for proximity sensors. We are proud that we continue to make a further important contribution for the international leading position of our products.

For all our products “made in Germany” also means, “tested in Germany”.

This means for our clients the certainty and guarantee that all our products have to pass a complete final inspection of all functions before delivery. Not batch tests only – but 100 % tested!

Capacitive Sensors KXS

(30.01.2006)

The capacitive proximity sensors that make up the KAS-40…, KAS-70…, KAS-80…, KAS-90, KAS-1000 and KAS-2000 series . are already established as powerful leaders in today.s market. They are well accepted as sensors that are reliable, and there are a large number of versions to suit many applications in the processing industry and throughout mechanical engineering. Nowadays they are indispensable. Important parameters for the user are the achievable switching distance and the size of the sensor. Larger switching distances require larger sensors. It is here, that the new KXS/KXA-Systems show their strength. Although one achieves essentially larger switching distances with these capacitive systems, their size is actually smaller. The sensors of the KXS/KXA-Series are based on a different measuring principle, the three-electrode-principle.

Advantages:

- Extreme large sensing distance, up to 10-times the norm

- miniature sensors from M5

- Measurement of smallest changes in capacity

- suitable for high-temperature areas up to +250°C (ceramics +800°C)

- up to three adjustable switching points in one sensor (Duplex and Triplex operation)

The Top-Team In The Ex-Area

(30.01.2006)

RECHNER-Sensors have a wide reaching program of Ex- protected sensors. The product family comprise capacitive and inductive proximity sensors in cylindrical size from 6.5 to 40 mm in diameter. NAMUR sensors and proximity sensors with NPN or PNP transistor output rank among the standard. With the Ex- protected isolation amplifiers the product range is complete. The ATEX-certified units are available for areas with danger of gas explosion (Zone 0,1 and 2) and for areas with danger of dust explosion (Zone 20, 21 and 22). Being an ATEX certified firm, RECHNER can also offer sensors with a manufacturers declaration for both of these explosion danger areas.

Capacitive Sensor - an all round performance ensures everything runs well!

(30.01.2006)

RECHNER’s capacitive filling level detection sensor is especially designed for the detection of very adhesive products. The non-stick characteristic of the PTFE housing is enhanced with the round tip of the sensor. These sensors are often used in the chemical industry as well as in the food industry. Sensing only takes place at the tip of the sensor, which also ensures that there is no problem from unwanted switching caused by product build-up on the wall of the container. Permitted ambient temperature max. +100°C.

High Performance – the standard for RECHNER’s capacitive proximity sensors

(30.01.2006)

Rechner has proved once again, that supreme achievement is possible, when the customer‘s demands are merged with their innovation and longstanding experience. High Performance, just two words that accurately describe the new generation of standard sensors: Capacitive sensors with 3 times higher sensing distance than the norm, high temperature stability up to 100°C and excellent EMC-characteristics. The sensing distance is medium optimised, so that with just one adjustment it is possible to detect a variety of products. The series comprise capacitive sensors in cylindrical size from M 8 × 1 mm to 64 mm in diameter, with both flush and non-flush mountable models. Also ranging among the standard are chemical resistant and food-grade sensors in PTFE or PTFE/stainless steel housings.

50 mm Sensing Distance !

(30.01.2006)

Record sensing distance with the new High Performance Proximity Sensors from RECHNER. The M32 threaded sensor with 5 cm active area allows a flush mounting sensing distance of more then 50 mm. This corresponds to 5 times the Sn of a standard M30 sensor. The PEEK covered active area offers excellent protection, since this material is considered to be oil resistant, resistant to nearly all chemicals, physiologically harmless and it has very good mechanical characteristics, like abrasion resistance. This 4-wire DC sensor is available with antivalent PNP switching output.
